Hurricane P3966 The Excavation of Hurricane P3966, The pilot came to the museum to view the remains of his aircraft. including a photo page.
SPITFIRE R6625 On the 35th anniversary of the crash, we excavated the remains of this Battle of Britain Spitfire.14/9/40
B.17 of the 385th BG On the 26th September 1943, Two B-17s of the 385th Bomb Group collided over the village of West Horndon, Essex, England. All crew members bar one perished.

P-47 DIG 1977 The excavation of an 8th Airforce P.47 Thunderbolt. 78th Fighter Group 82nd Fighter Squadron based at Duxford,1/10/44.
B.26 MARAUDER March 8th 1944, two B.26 aircraft of the 344th Bomb Group 494th Bomb Squadron of the USAAF 9th Airforce collided in mid-air over a village in Essex, in 1975 we excavated the remains of one of them.

Ju88 s-1

A lone Junkers 88S-1 shot down by anti-aircraft fire in February 1944. Its radio operator returned to England to see the excavation in 1986.
